List Publishers cannot currently see the Review History of a list - they can only see the "Updated" data, which is often misleading for lecturers as "Updated" includes updates by Library staff, such as adding e-book links or updating editions.
This is actively impeding our attempts to increase academic engagement, since academics look at a list, see "Updated" data of a few weeks or months ago, and refuse to believe Library staff when we tell them that no academic has updated/republished the list for years. (We don't roll lists over annually, and we have Force Review switched on so that whenever an academic, ie a List Publisher, re-publishes a list it automatically goes for Review.)
We've recently asked whether "Updated" could be changed so that it only records updates by List Publishers, not by Library Acquisitions, but were told this isn't possible.
As an alternative to this, would it be possible for logged-in List Publishers to see "Last Reviewed" alongside "Updated" so that we can show our academics how long it is since they re-published their list?
Hi both! Seeing when a review was requested is in the design proposals, though we have not yet brought them back for user review to finalise. But rest assured that was a common theme across all the universities who participated in user discovery and Reviews feedback. Thank you!
