Lock down Core Reading

Would it be possible to protect certain resources in a list, which can't be edited or deleted?

Our importances are 'Core' and 'Additional' reading, and with an audit of core reading currently underway it would be useful to have the ability to 'lock down' our core reading.

    Hi Sarla,

Thank you for further explanation. Unfortunately, this is not something we will be working on in the near future. Apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Kindest regards, Georgia Georgiou

    Hi Georgia

Thanks for your explanation. The reasoning behind my enhance request is that we are doing an audit of our core texts and want to subsequently lock them down so they cant be deleted from a list, or changed by anyone apart from those with admin permissions.

So I know I can run a report to see changes but we wanted a way to prevent faculty making changes to a certain area of each list.

    Many thanks
    Sarla

Hi, thank you for your comments. We aren't planning to address this at the moment but a solution would be to run an all list items report, filtered by the importance you want to isolate and export to CSV. Then rerun the report at the end of the process to see if any items have changed. Hopefully this helps, The Product Team
