solution needed to bookmark tool hiding relevant bookmarking information

It's very frustrating that the bookmarking tool opens in the same tab as the site to which you want to add a resource. This is particularly frustrating when the tool fails to capture all the required metadata leaving you without access to the original information.

You've no way of copying and pasting the information unless you have the foresight to open the original page into two open tabs before hitting the talis bookmarking button.
