As a previous idea for allowing customisation to the resource type list has yet to be implemented ( https://technologyfromsage02.ideas.aha.io/ideas/PROD-I-260 ) I am suggesting a new type to add: Datasets. This has been suggested to us by an academic staff member, and we can see it being helpful for courses that look at specific datasets.
I think this would be a useful addition that hopefully isn't too difficult to implement.

Unfortunately not in this case. We currently use the database type to link to specific subscribed databases e.g. Scival. We want to use the dataset type to link to specific datasets (e.g. https://doi.org/10.48610/4fb74a9 ). Some courses use specific datasets for assessment items, we also have a list used for research outputs that contains datasets.
