LTI to item level

In Desire2Learn (D2L) we can insert LTIs within HTML pages (Via the insert quick links button). It would be great to be able to LTI link to a specific item, which will then roll to the new version when unit sites and lists rollover.

Reason:

• We have issues with academics using links that are not persistent, or breaking the experience fr students by adding proxy to everything. Saying to an academic they just need to pull the item through from the list via LTI would be really useful.

• A main selling point for using Reading Lists at our institution is that the Library maintains the links in reading lists (eg. when vendors change platforms, or when we switch to SSO instead of ezproxy).
