I feel it would be useful to have the option to increase the number of links that can be added to either the header or footer rather than be limited by the current 5 we can add in the header. It helps to direct people out from one central point ie the reading list, rather than having to go out and search separately if more links could be added.

Than you for your suggestion. We limit the amount in the header due to the amount of size on the screen. But you can have up to 10 items in the page footer.
The new self service feature coming in the next couple of weeks will allow you to edit these quickly and add the extra links in the footer yourself
