Auto proxying of Web Address links in Reviews

We have recently switched to applying auto-proxying rules to specific web address domains in Aspire lists in order to add the OpenAthens Redirector prefix to publisher links stored in the Web Address field (functionality described here on the support site). This works well in the Student View of the lists but unfortunately isn't currently applied to the Web Address links displayed in Reviews. We would like this functionality to work across both the regular list view and Reviews to allow for easy testing of links during list reviews.

      Hi Jonathan,

This feature is in development and will be shipped with some related ideas stemming from our user discovery in 2023. Stay tuned for a new links panel in a review on the Resource Info tab. It will spell out original and proxied links where applicable, plus more. Please keep a watch out for Service Announcement emails and/or updates on https://support.talis.com/hc/en-gb/articles/17338137081629-Product-Updates-Talis-Aspire.

Once you get a chance to try it out, we would love your feedback on how it meets your needs.

      Regards Kate

HI Jonathan, we are planning to provide librarians the ability to see which links are proxied within the reviews during Q2 2024. It is currently in design.

Hi Jonathan, thank you for your idea. We are actively reviewing pain points and ideas for reviews this week. I have assigned it for feasibility review so I can address with our tech team. Stay tuned. Kind regards, kate
